Booking Terms & Conditions

Pre-launch draft. This operational draft is included so acceptance can be built into the booking system. It should be reviewed against your final business/legal terms before the site is made public.

1. Service

The booking is for a visual inspection and report relating to the owner-builder work identified for the property. The inspection is limited to areas and components that are reasonably accessible and visible at the time of inspection.

2. Information provided by the client

The client is responsible for providing accurate property, owner-builder and renovation-work information and for advising of relevant work that should be considered as part of the inspection.

3. Access and limitations

Concealed, inaccessible, obstructed or unsafe areas may not be inspected. Furniture, finishes and building elements are not destructively removed simply to expose concealed work unless separately agreed.

4. Booking and scheduling

Payment confirms the booking request. Preferred dates are requests rather than fixed appointments. An inspection time is confirmed after scheduling.

5. Payment

The amount shown at checkout is payable before the standard online booking proceeds. Any unusual scope outside the quoted information may require review before the inspection.

6. Report

The report records observations made at the inspection and is prepared for the agreed purpose. The absence of a listed defect does not mean that concealed or inaccessible defects cannot exist.

7. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Any limitation in these terms applies only to the extent permitted by law.

8. Privacy and data

Booking information, inspection records, photographs and reports may be stored using secure cloud services for service delivery, record keeping and system operation. See the Privacy Notice for more information.
