What information we collect
We may collect your contact details, property information, details of the owner-builder work, preferred inspection dates, payment references, inspection notes, photos and report records needed to provide the service. If you ask us to send a questionnaire summary or report copy to your conveyancer or solicitor, we may also collect the email address you enter for them. We may also collect basic first-party website usage and referral information, such as an anonymous browser session identifier, pages used, quote or checker steps reached, referral codes and campaign tags. If you register as a referrer, we also collect the name, agency, branch, mobile number and email address you provide so we can manage that referral relationship.
How we use it
We use this information to give you a price, send requested questionnaire summaries, take payment, arrange and carry out the inspection, prepare and send the report, keep business records, understand which referral sources and website steps are useful, manage referrer registrations and referral attribution, and operate our booking and inspection systems.
Companies that help us provide the service
We use service providers for functions such as website hosting, databases, secure payments, accounting, calendar scheduling and email. Your card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored in our application database.
Google Ads measurement
We advertise with Google Ads. Our website loads the Google tag, which uses cookies and similar technologies to tell Google when a visit that came from one of our ads leads to a quote request or a completed payment, including the amount paid. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or property address to Google for this purpose. You can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Cloud storage
Property details, customer information, inspection records, supporting documents, photos and reports may be stored in secure cloud systems used to operate the service.
Keeping your form details while you pay
If you leave the website to make a secure payment and then return, your browser may temporarily keep a draft of the booking form so you do not have to enter everything again. The draft is cleared after a successful checkout or after a short expiry period.

You can contact us to ask for access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal requirements.
